In Memory of James McCall

James McCall

In 1991 they came to my father and told him sorry Mr. McCall you have Multiple Myeloma and only 6 months to live. Then a group of doctors came to him and asked him if he would be a part of their study for this rare cancer. He didn't even bat an eye, he just said yes. For the next 16 years he tried every new drug and procedure they asked him to try amazing them and his family every step of the way. Always knowing that he would help save another life one day. These doctors became our family and were just as devastated as we were when he lost his fight. Now they are able to use this research from my father and other brave patients like him to help other Multiple Myeloma patients live longer and healthier lives. So this page is in tribute to my dad, my hero who fought a valiant fight and never gave up. And to all the doctors, nurses and researchers who are still helping patients fight this battle. Thank you. My family got 16 years we may not have had without your help.

Help us honor our loved one while making a difference in myeloma research.

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), along with its research and medical industry partners, has fueled more studies, initiated more trials, developed more treatments, introduced more medicines, and have had a far greater impact than any other organization on myeloma. While the MMRF has made enormous progress, they still have much to do and cannot continue to do great research without your support.

Please consider joining me to fight multiple myeloma. Together we can make a difference.
