In Memory of Nancy Shimansky

As my Bar Mitzvah approaches this October 2018 , I wanted to start thinking about how I can make a difference. As many of you know, my Grandma Nancy passed away six years ago in October 2012 from Multiple Myeloma. I miss her very much, especially on occasions like this where I know she would have been so happy for me. I wanted to do something in her memory, to help others fight that disease, and so decided to do a Cross fit Fundraiser. I've been doing cross fit for almost two years now and I love it. All funds raised will be donated to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) which is an organization dedicated to finding a cure. We are planning on holding a cross fit class for kids and adults on October 6 and I will also be doing a personal cross fit challenge in my weekly classes. I will send out emails with that week's challenge should you choose to sponsor me for that week !

You can sign up (email sign up below) and donate (RIGHT HERE) as follows:

1) Cross fit class for adults and kids on Saturday 10.6 at 11am

WITH AWESOME fundraising T-shirt!)...............$ 40

Class ONLY (no T)..............................................$ 30

T-shirt Only (too tired or weak for the class).......$ 20

2) Weekly Personal Cross Fit Challenge - Donate a total sum or per repetition each week

Week 1 -->
How many burpees in 1 min ................. $.50 - $1 per burpee
(Est. 15-20 total)
Week 2 -->
How many air squats in 1 min ............ $.50 - $1 per air squat
(Est. 30-35 total)
Week 3 -->
How many pull ups in 30 secs ................... $.50 - $1 per P/U
(Est. 10-15 total)

Looking forward to growing stronger together.
