Greetings! Please do NOT make any donations on this page. We are taking donations at the party in the form of cash or check payable to Joseph Pellegrini and put MMRF on the memo line. I will have donation forms at the party for you to fill out and the MMRF will mail you back a receipt for your donation. Now, please read on...
Help us honor the Christmas spirit and Mike while he continues to fight his battle by making a donation to help and make a difference in myeloma research. By hosting the annual Christmas party this year Cindy & I have decided that rather than purchase a $20.00 gift for the annual Yankee swap that we use that money towards a donation which will be matched dollar for dollar by Dr. Bruce & Kathy Elsey with a philanthropic cause: a commitment to cure cancer. The Elsey's established a Fund to Cure Cancer and pledged to match contributions made by December 31, 2018. Please pledge what you can afford, there is no set $ just keep in mind that your donation will be matched.
The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), along with its research and medical industry partners, has fueled more studies, initiated more trials, developed more treatments, introduced more medicines, and have had a far greater impact than any other organization on myeloma. While the MMRF has made enormous progress, they still have much to do and cannot continue to do great research without your support.
About the MMRF:
The mission of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) is to find a cure for multiple myeloma by relentlessly pursuing innovation that accelerates the development of next-generation treatments to extend the lives of patients. Founded in 1998 by Kathy Giusti, a multiple myeloma patient, and her twin sister Karen Andrews as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, the MMRF is a world-recognized leader in cancer research. Together with its partners, the MMRF has created the only end-to-end solution in precision medicine and the single largest genomic dataset in all cancers. The MMRF continues to disrupt the industry today, as a pioneer and leader at the helm of new research efforts. Since its inception, the organization has raised over $400 million and directs nearly 90% of the total funds to research and related programs. To learn more, visit themmrf.org.
Together we can make a difference! Thank you in advance for attending our Christmas Party!
