In Honor of Max Dixon

Created by Stephanie Dixon

Max C Dixon

Max C. Dixon was born October 8, 1924.

Max accomplished many things during his 78 years on this earth, but his proudest moments began when he started his family. He married his sweetheart, Jane, on November 09, 1962. They have 3 children: Diane, Kathy, and Don. Max has another son, Max Jr.

He proudly served his country as a TEC 5 in the US Army during WW II.

Max lost his battle with Multiple Myeloma on January 09, 2002. And although I never had the honor of meeting him personally, I am grateful for the legacy he has left behind in his family. Help us honor his memory while making a difference in the future of myeloma research.

The Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), along with its research and medical industry partners, has fueled more studies, initiated more trials, developed more treatments, introduced more medicines, and have had a far greater impact than any other organization on myeloma. While the MMRF has made enormous progress, they still have much to do and cannot continue to do great research without your support.

About the MMRF:
The mission of the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF) is to find a cure for multiple myeloma by relentlessly pursuing innovation that accelerates the development of next-generation treatments to extend the lives of patients. Founded in 1998 by Kathy Giusti, a multiple myeloma patient, and her twin sister Karen Andrews as a 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization, the MMRF is a world-recognized leader in cancer research. The MMRF continues to disrupt the industry today, as a pioneer and leader at the helm of new research efforts.  Since its inception, the organization has raised over $330 million and directs nearly 90% of the total funds to research and related programs.
